Dress Code

Dress Code

In order for Bradley County Schools to provide safe and secure schools and enhance the educational focus, Bradley Central High School, established the following standards for student dress and appearance. 

  • Any type of clothing or tattoos that displays alcohol, tobacco, illegal substances, profanity, sexual innuendos, gang identification, drug paraphernalia, racial/religious/political inflammatory pictures or language of any kind are strictly prohibited.
  • Bandanas, gloves, beads, beaded attire, and blankets are never allowed. This list is not all-inclusive. *In matters of opinion, the decision of the school will prevail.  
  • Visible body piercings other than the ears are prohibited.
  • Unnaturally colored hair is prohibited. 

Shirts/Tops

  • All shirts must have sleeves and must be appropriate for the learning environment. If the shirt references a school, it must only reference Bradley Central High School. 
  • Tops, shirts, blouses, and dresses must completely cover the abdomen, back, shoulders, and cleavage. 

 

Pants/Shorts

  • Shorts, skirts, and dresses must approach the knees. *Athletic shorts (fingertip length)
  • Yoga pants are allowed
  • Pajama and fleece pants are NOT allowed
  • Holes in shorts and pants are NOT allowed
