I am excited about the future of Bradley Central and honored to have the opportunity to serve the students and faculty at the best high school in the country! My love for Bradley began many years ago. I walked the halls as a student-athlete at BCHS from '99-'01. I continued my academic and baseball career at Lee University where I obtained a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration. After graduation, I worked in Human Resources for Randstad North America (4 years) before I was called into education and back to my alma mater, Bradley Central. I received my Masters of Education and Leadership from Lee University while teaching Business, Work-Based Learning, and serving as an assistant boys basketball coach for the past ten years. I served as an assistant principal in the BCHS Business Academy for a year prior to being named Principal of Bradley in June 2019.
I have been married 16 years to my beautiful wife Jan who serves as the assistant women’s basketball coach for Lee University. Together we have two “full of life” little boys, Hudson (11) and Houston (7). During my free time, I enjoy spending time with my family, golfing, running, and being outdoors.
It is with great pleasure that I represent the administrative team of Bradley Central High School in the Humanities Academy. I am beginning my 33rd year in education with the Bradley County School System. Before entering administration, I taught students in grades seven through twelve in the area of mathematics and science. For twenty-five years, I have served at Bradley Central High School. For eight years, I taught at Trewhitt Junior High School, now known as Lake Forest Middle School. My educational journey includes an Educational Specialist Degree from Tennessee Technological University in the area of Instructional Leadership, a Master of Education Degree from the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga, a Bachelor of Science Degree from Lee College, and an honors diploma from Bradley Central High School. I am married to my best friend, David, who helps with the family business at Neely Printing. We have one precious daughter, Katie. In my spare time, I enjoy spending time with family, singing, fishing, and dancing. As the new school year unfolds, I look forward to serving our students and seeing them shine to their best ability!

It is my honor to serve the students and families of the STEM Academy at Bradley Central High School. I was born into a family of educators and have lived in Cleveland most of my life. I graduated from Lee University and began teaching in 1993. I have taught 3rd, 4th, 5th, and 6th grades at Arnold Elementary, Hopewell Elementary, and Michigan Avenue Elementary Schools. I shifted from the classroom to serving as the Instructional Coach at Michigan Avenue for six years and at Bradley Central High School for two years. I received my Masters Degree from Tusculum University and my Educational Specialist and Doctorate of Education degrees from Carson-Newman University. I have been married for 30 years and have two amazing boys. Braxton is 25 and married to his best friend since middle school, Wendy. Braeden is 20 and will be a junior in college this year. I love to read, travel, decorate, and hang out with my nieces and nephew. I am so excited about the amazing things happening in STEM at Bradley and about the wonderful opportunities that we get to provide for our students. It’s going to be a fabulous year!
