I am excited about the future of Bradley Central and honored to have the opportunity to serve the students and faculty at the best high school in the country! My love for Bradley began many years ago. I walked the halls as a student-athlete at BCHS from '99-'01. I continued my academic and baseball career at Lee University where I obtained a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration. After graduation, I worked in Human Resources for Randstad North America (4 years) before I was called into education and back to my alma mater, Bradley Central. I received my Masters of Education and Leadership from Lee University while teaching Business, Work-Based Learning, and serving as an assistant boys basketball coach for the past ten years. I served as an assistant principal in the BCHS Business Academy for a year prior to being named Principal of Bradley in June 2019.
I have been married eleven years to my beautiful wife Jan who serves as the assistant women’s basketball coach for Lee University. Together we have two “full of life” little boys, Hudson (6) and Houston (2). During my free time, I enjoy spending time with my family, golfing, running, and being outdoors.
Welcome from Bradley Central High School. It is with great pleasure that I represent the administrative team of BCHS in the Humanities Academy. I am beginning my 30th year in education, 18th year in administration, and third year with the Humanities Academy. Before entering administration, I taught students in the area of mathematics and science. All years but eight have been at Bradley Central. For eight years, I taught at Trewhitt Junior High School, now known as Lake Forest Middle School. I currently hold an Educational Specialist Degree from Tennessee Technological University in the area of Instructional Leadership. I also graduated from UTC (M Ed), Lee College (BS), and BCHS (Honor). I am married and have one daughter. I enjoy spending time with family, singing, fishing, and dancing. I look forward to the 2021 - 2022 school year. Please feel free to contact me with any questions you may have.

It is my honor to serve the students and families of the STEM Academy at Bradley Central High School. I was born into a family of educators and have lived in Cleveland most of my life. I graduated from Lee University and began teaching in 1993. I have taught 3rd, 4th, 5th, and 6th grades at Arnold Elementary, Hopewell Elementary, and Michigan Avenue Elementary Schools. I shifted from the classroom to serving as the Instructional Coach at Michigan Avenue for six years and at Bradley Central High School for two years. I received my Masters Degree from Tusculum University and my Educational Specialist and Doctorate of Education degrees from Carson-Newman University. I have been married for 27 years and have two amazing boys. Braxton is 22 and married to his best friend since middle school, Wendy. Braeden is 17 and will be a senior in high school this year. I love to read, travel, decorate, and hang out with my nieces and nephew. I am so excited about the amazing things happening in STEM at Bradley and about the wonderful opportunities that we get to provide for our students. It’s going to be a fabulous year!

I was raised in Augusta, Georgia and moved to Tennessee in 1997. I attended Red Bank High School, where I met my wife Sarah and went on to attend the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga. I began my teaching career at East Lake Academy before moving to my alma mater (Red Bank High School) where I taught 9th grade and coached football and baseball for 6 years. I then moved to Soddy Daisy High School where I continued to teach and coach football for 3 ½ years before moving into administration at East Ridge Middle School. I was the assistant principal at ERMS for 2 years and then transitioned to East Ridge High School for the 2018-19 school year. I am beginning my 13th year of education, 4th year as an assistant principal, and 1st in Bradley County. I am looking forward to the awesome opportunity of serving our faculty, staff, students, and families of Bradley Central High School.
