Bradley County Schools Transportation

Bus transportation is provided for every student zoned for Bradley Central High School as well as every school in the Bradley County school zone. Students are to ride the same buses daily. If a student must ride a different bus or accompany a bus rider home, they must provide a parent note granting permission to ride the bus. A school administrator must sign this note before giving to the bus driver the day of the change in transportation. (Board Policy 6.308).

If there is an incident on a Bradley County Schools bus, it may be reported to the Bradley County Schools Transportation Department by completing the Complaint Form that is posted on our website (bchs.bradleyschools.org). After completing the form, please submit to Bradley County Schools Central Office, either by emailing [email protected], or by calling 423- 641-1664.

Bus Conduct

Notice: Video and audio recording devices are used on Bradley County buses.

The Bradley County School System desires to make pupil transportation on a bus as safe as possible. When a student’s behavior jeopardizes that safety, he/she may be suspended from riding the bus. The same behavior expected in the classroom is expected on the bus.  All school rules apply.  Consequences for bus violation are three levels, which vary from an administrative warning to suspension from the bus for the remainder of the year. Bus suspensions affect all buses, and parents are responsible for transporting. (Board Policy 6.308)
